Folks were asking how we got him on a free.

Well maybe (hopefully we don't) have an answer.

We knew about his injury problems when he signed though. His hamstrings are ****ed.

I thought we did, just with less conviction.

If Ajayi is out for Sunday though I can see why they saved Egan for then.

forget the result - that was a great performance on the whole - keep playing like that we'll be much closer to the top than we will to the bottom

    Yeah. That's the take away.

Least we didn't get the annual first round bumming by Donny.

That privelige went to Boro this year.

We saw the game and it was a good performance for the 90 minutes, so his remark is fair IMO. We just need to learn not to switch off and think we have won it before we have.

I quite agree. It was more an observation about figurative speech than anything.

i didn’t watch it. Just saw the result and match report when I woke up. On paper, drawing 3-3 with the reserves of a team who just came up isn’t very positive. Guessing we played much better than the stats and bbc report suggested?

We absolutely breezed past them for 90 mins bar maybe 10 mins of the first half. It wasn’t our first choice either / those who were weren’t fully fit

You are probably right if reading a training manual but at that stage City were romping it, 3-1 up and Wrexham were getting ran ragged, it was fill yer' boots time, goal wise...........a position those City players have not been in for as long as I can remember.........and it cost us. Never underestimate your opposition, you've won nowt until the referee blows the whistle, etc etc, all lessons you learn as a kid, but sometimes you are so far in front, as we were at that stage, that you forget the basics, and we did, so a harsh lesson was hopefully learned tonight.
Doubt if it will happen again.

Strong, compelling display for 90 minutes, thought McBurnie's footwork was far better than I expected, he'll be a handful. Pleased for Ndala to get off the mark too. Palmer played suspiciously well, perhaps angling for a move? Phillips.. bloody hell

Was a great game, entertaining. We did look very good except those daft 10 minutes at the end when a few switched off.

Great crowd for a 'meaningless' fixture. We really can generate a good atmosphere away from home

And same result as 28 years ago but far more fun this time.

    Was proper impressed with Drameh.

TWT if it ends up being a learning curve or becomes a habit I suppose. Overall a good performance but 3-1 and we ****ed it up is always going to leave a sour taste.

I assume they are just looking to sell Lo-Tutala otherwise he wouldn't be out out on loan every year. Doncaster can't afford to buy so keep loaning him.

Pretty good performance, but they very much seemed like lower league opposition, which makes sense if it was a B team.

I still feel the midfield dynamic is off. Lundstram, although a good all-rounder, lacks the finesse to do what Seri and Alzate did for us. I really think we need someone who constantly makes space and wants the ball in there with Lundstram.

Ndala is very dangerous when he drifts centrally, he turns quickly and puts teams on the back foot. Reminds me of the way Delap used to open up space from deep.
