I thought the same player but even the thought of writing his name put me off. Silly really as I’ve actually typed a longer message to explain all this
As Baz has previously tried to explain. The word "appeal" doesn't really describe the the process of dialogue that's taking place. It's not the same as trying to get a parking ticket revoked.
Indeed, I missed my left little finger when counting. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
He did say that at one point, but then it transpired there's a hearing and it sounds a lot more like a regular appeal process now. Baz also said the word from the EFL was to expect a result within 48 hours, but that got extended to early this week (unclear why) and that hasn't happened either. So it does seem curious and I think it's a valid question.
Don’t know if this has been put anywhere, but this seems to be what’s happening to Puerta according to The Sun. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/3622...w3L31z0jWQo_zeH-0f_aem_nE58pQ5an59g1uncxoYSpQ
Today really has to be the day otherwise the EFL are really taking the piss. Leaving the club in limbo is one thing but punishing players is another.
Full name appears to contain 11 vowels...even translating "of" to the Dutch "van". https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Vennegoor_of_Hesselink
Something seems weird about how the Akintola and Williams deals are now hanging, seemingly complete yet not. They've been in that state for a while and SJ has said various different things, but most recently that it's with the EFL. I wonder whether we're needing to again convince them that we can afford these signings, and whether it's maybe all tied up with the appeal somehow.
It shouldn't be up to them to decide if we can afford them, perhaps we really can't at the present time. If though later this year the likes of Pandur and Hughes go for a combined £15m+ could we then afford them? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
It absolutely should be. They should be in the business of ensuring all clubs in the division are sustainable.
