It’s hardly surprising our attack has been **** in both games. Against Wrexham we played our wide players with a short striker who doesn’t suit being a lone striker and pumping in lots of crosses despite a lack of height. Today we played no wingers and 3 players that all want to play central. Hope we settle on something with the attacking players we have available that is a little more logical against Ipswich. Got to have some balance.

Did you see her story about the penalty shootout with Spain? The Spanish keeper had all the England penalty info on her water bottle. Hampton says she threw it in the crowd when the Spanish girl was facing a penalty. Hampton had all her info written on her arm. Smart lady.
Disappointing that we didn't push on after the goal. Pretty lacklustre throughout really with our one moment of quality winning it for us.. I really don't want to pick on Diaz too much but it's hard cos he's so utterly ****e. But through to the next round which is most important thing. Shame the skates went out.
And, iirc, he only got started after scoring against us at the Dell, so maybe Downs needs to pop an OG into our net and then he’ll be off and running.
Yeah I'm not reading too much into it or anything. Just calling what I saw tonight which was awful. The only slight concern I have is that I've not seen much of the pressing that Still apparently likes in his teams. Seem to be standing off teams so far. Extremely early days though.

Yep with a bit more composure he could have had 2 goals already. As someone else said earlier, he looks like he’s trying too hard.
