The 2025-26 Premier League starts this week. Which means it's time for another Bad Predictions Amnesty.

Anyway... Mine is Keith Andrews will last the entire campaign in charge of Brentford

 

Dan Ballard to have an injury free season.

 

Saudi Utd to get relegated, and then to self combust.

Abhu City to be deducted one thousand points, be fined £5tr and then be entered into the Tour de France as a further punishment.

Not much to ask that.

 

Pep to walk out before season ends.

 

I just think that might happen too if this season goes wobbly.
He was displaying signs of extreme stress last season and frankly, if he looks like that again, his wife should tell him to stop it.

 

He is so intense in everything he does. I know a coach at Man City academy and he says everything is 110%. Must take a toll.

And I'm not joking about his wife, though I've no idea about his personal situation. But my wife would tell me if I was grinding myself down. And I'd listen.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Man Utd take him if Amorim doesn't turn things around.

 

I fancy Amorim to turn it round personally. I know they have work to do, but for them top 10 is a turnaround, and I think that is where the targets lie for now. With a run at Euro quals.

Talking to a mate, been season ticket holder there 46 years. He says this is the most United looking pre season since Fergie. Clear plan, structure and intensity across positions. I did ask if we couls have Amad back, and for a lad pushing 70 his language was ripe

 

I do too mate. Being without European football this season will help them in the long run!
