He's obviously a grade A kn*b. And perhaps he's not the sharpest.

But even given that, and even if he has a particularly self serving agent, there are more subtle ways of behaving, despite wanting away.

It makes me think that he really must have had some sort of verbal deal with the Saudis. If he did, he was very foolish and naive to trust them. His agent at least should have known better.

If the Mags want to be considered a’Big’ team they cannot let Isak go to Liverpool, just so they can save face. He’ll end up on loan to some team playing Europa league for next season ( Can’t let him go to a Champions League rival, just in case it bites them on the arse later in the competition.) I predict one of Porto, Betis, Roma or Stuttgart is where he will end up for now, with Liverpool signing him next summer.

I know intelligence and critical thinking is in short supply with that lot, but do they never stop to think that behaviour like this does more harm than good (rhetorical question, I know most of them can't or don't think)? Putting up a huge Tifo to show how much you love him, then a few weeks later burning shirts, calling him a rat, camping outside the training ground etc. and these tiktok/YouTube posts only make them look fickle and ready to turn on anyone. Yes, Isaks behaviour has been bad, but very easily he's going to look sensible compared to that lot due to this behaviour. It's bound to affect players there wondering if they're next. It'll affect incoming transfers as well as players will have doubts and think twice about playing for such a bunch of volatile, fickle fans.

Mind you, they have form for it. Chucking Mars bars wrappers filled with concrete at Gaza after he went to Spurs is one example.
