Hmm in Keswick for the villa game… wonder if we go to the golden lion pub on the high street. Where we went for the Coventry game
Think I fancy Arsenal for the title Liverpool have signed extremely well but I believe Arsenal could do the business now they’ve got a proper centre forward…
I'm hoping for a 4 way title race this year, Chelsea are a little off the other 3 but work well as a team - could be a great season
Would be great to have 3 or 4 teams really going at it Hope there’s a proper relegation scrap with 7 or 8 teams fighting for survival too - that would give us the best chance of staying up. Used to be class a few years back, promoted sides usually started well. Hasn’t been the case for a while now
Caught the highlights of the Everton v Bournemouth - where I though Bournemouth may struggle this season to live up to last, they looked very sharp, Everton looked so poor, conditions probably had a part to play as well too
£36.50 for a match ticket has to be one of the cheapest in the league, still think it should be capped at £20 but well done Sunderland not ripping fans off, Brentford ticket sorted new website is a doddle too
Golden boot odds … Haaland 6/5 Salah 9/2 Isak 6/1 Gyokeres 6/1 Ekitike 16/1 Joao Pedro 16/1 Palmer 20/1 Watkins 25/1 Solanke 33/1 Cunha 40/1 ———————————— Mayenda 250/1 Isidor 250/1
Just seen something Mayenda posted looks like it’s media day at the club today, it’s the little things that are exciting
Just thought it worth saying this. Though every talking head that can mouth a cliche and is asked their opinion says that there is now virtually no hope at all of any club staying up, the following happened. In 2022/2023, only three seasons ago, all three promoted teams , Fulham, Bournemouth and Forest all did what is now regarded as near impossible. It isn't impossible. Haway the lads.
We have edged ahead of Burnley and are now second fav for relegation at 2/1 to survive. The flip side, we are the most popular bet in that market. As an ex gambler I wouldnt touch that price personally. Putting money into a 9 month bet is mad anyway, but would be looking for 3/1 still. Lets face it them buggers at the bookies will lay it off all over the place and make more on interest for 9 months. Just an aside. Seems some fancy us enough to have a dabble anyway.
I think it’s an awful price. I’d probably want 9/2 or 5/1 to considering backing us. It’s going to be ridiculously tough IMO
