Spend it before hand and then sell at the end. If we sell now, we will be left with money and likely to spend on overinflated and overhyped players as we get more and more desperate to fill positions. I personally wouldn't sell to Liverpool as I am a vindictive bastard but if the club feels an offer is too good to turn down, it should be done after the our home game to Liverpool.
Governed by Form 20 - Standard Premier League player contract, however we can insert a clause similar to how a loan player one works.
This is just people who've gone digging for reasons to believe Isak hasn't done what he's obviously done. I mean, I suppose there could be a bit of media spin, but he's still done it.
The end of Isak, I assume. Then we use the money to buy someone else who's not Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
We paid £60m for him, his value now is well over double that in my opinion. That being said, he clearly wants out so we give him what he wants effectively ("to explore his options") and we transfer list him and openly encourage offers of no less than £120m from any teams competing in another league other than the English Premier League. Offers of no less than £150m will be accepted for any teams competing in the Premier League. Lets see what options he ends up to consider then and we'll see just exactly how much he wants to play for the Bin Dippers....and will only play for the Bin Dippers. Right here right now I'd absolutely accept £120m from PSG or Madrid for him. I'd be ****ing gutted if the dippers offered £150m for him and got him mind but there's absolutely **** all to stop us doing this. Oh and the deal has to be agreed including medical etc by next weekend otherwise all bets are off. Unless it's the Dippers in which case we drag it out so the ****er can't play against us!
It's not when you dig deeper. They did the same with Virgil Van Dijk. FSG Group are via David Ornstein spreading nonsense in an attempt to put pressure on NUFC to lower their asking price. It's tapping up in plain sight.
We did go through summary similar with Cabaye, but this one seems more of a certianty. Are there any strikers left to buy now though after all the target have been hoovered up?
The Saudi's should start using their vast resources and internet misinformation brigade to target Liverpool FC.
I'm not saying you haven't found some very inconclusive evidence, but Isak clearly has been aggressive and I've come to the conclusion there's nothing Newcastle can do, so they might as well just sell him and improve the overall squad. Other players will do the same it's just the new Normal regardless how this ends. That Irish Scouse guy was sadly right.
There's plenty NUFC can do and there is literally nothing that Isak can do. He is bound by Premier League rules, his contract of employment, UK and European contract law and UEFA regulations. He cannot terminate his contract, cannot refuse to train or play and cannot force a move elsewhere. Newcastle hold all of the cards and can do as they please.
Yeah but we need 20 goals a season and another striker within 3 weeks. I was initially thinking just draw a line in the sand, but which is also fine, but if we can land some good players juts send him to Liverpool in a really **** plane.
Bud, none of this is going to happen. The player will be sold when adequate replacement(s) come in. In the meantime, publish his value and see who bids.
For me, there's a good number of decent strikers out there who could fill the void. Kilicsoy, Boniface, Biereth, Schick, Mateta, Retegui, Woltemade, Vitor Roque to throw a few names out. I don't know why we find it so specifically difficult.
This is the reality. Newcastle have been beaten up and pulverised, so the club needs to regroup and come back better. Isak outgrew the club and is cold
