Sorry but what is you issue? No-one is making money from this, people are just offering other fans season cards when they cant attend. What exactly is the issue?
I’m not writing it again ok once more if you’re using the proper channels it’s fine If you’re not it’s illegal
Done nothing wrong? Let me be absolutely clear, I couldn't care less what you think about whether I've done anything wrong. My conscience is 100% clear and I'm proud of my 50 years of travelling with the Sunderland supporters who've helped me as I've helped them. Loads of people have asked to be included in the SC collective and that will happen whether you like it or not.
Its a poor state of affairs where people cant help other fans out without accusations. What have some of our fan base become
Anyone who says they've never been grateful for a spare, at Sunderland away games, is either a liar or never goes.
True. Away games always get people's back up, even more so know we are in the premier league. Most of us accept we wont get away tickets as we haven't done the hard yards, some believe they should just be able to cherry pick fixtures. Home games is very different and for those of us lucky enough to live close enough to justify a season ticket, does it really matter if the odd game we cant make we give to someone else? Or is the world that harsh that it is assumed that person is making money? Like any true safc fan I know would dare to make money, on the seat? Of course they wouldn't, they would happily give their seat freely if they couldn't make it
I think it would be petty if the club had a problem with this. Say even 100 donations @ say £50 is £5000 for a match. Hardly going to cause financial problems when we are in the world of Premiership money
There's a ticket for the West Ham game, that someone has just mentioned to me, Montgomery Suite ... ... apparently sold out for the season, never knew that.
That ticket has now gone so it's nice to see the 'collective' is helping fellow supporters. I'll know, tomorrow, what tickets are available from branches and other sources, for the West Ham game. Also I'll be finding out, for certain, if any away tickets will be 'print at home' although, at this point I suspect they'll all be electronic. The situation with away tickets is becoming increasingly difficult for branches. Fewer tickets are being allocated to branches so typically there'll only be 20/30 available for a branch bus that would normally take 50. That means two or three branches will have to share a bus or increasingly take trains. We're talking, regularly, with LNER, to organise discounts, extra trains, etc. Sadly this will, imo, gradually erode the branches which have been a mainstay of SAFC for many years. The branches are 'mini communities' where people help each other and organise functions, player meets, etc. This is another step on the road to the fracturing of the branches and pit villages that were once so important and intrinsic. Very sad imo, but that's 'progress'.
I'm just double checking mate ... ... I'm hoping to post a run down of do's and do not's this week. We all need to be clear on what's the right thing to do.,
My ticket always goes to a mate when I’m not there but if it’s ever available I’m up for a 606er to have it.
Seems not ... that was the answer I got. Does your friend, and his friend, both have accounts ... ... if so a transfer is the safest way, providing they share a category.
I suppose a person could transfer their SC onto the phone of a person with an account ... ... who's also going to the game. That would work.
Why is it such a minefield??? Surely the sc owner should be allowed to do what he wants. He's paid for it.
Promoted clubs are put under pressure by the PL mate. They don't like people printing off tickets that can go to touts, etc. There's been quite a few nasty incidents with people in the wrong sections at big games.
