Disagree. The smart move is what we are reported to now be doing. If he stops and we sell him next summer I would expect to be getting at least the £150M we are reported to be asking for now. Still 2 years left on his contract. Can’t see him sulking as coming up to World Cup etc. Also we are telling everyone that you don’t mess with us. Obviously, there are risks re injuries etc but that would apply to any replacements that might be brought in if we sold Isak. Bottom line is we are in control, not the player, not the Agent and most definitely not any buying Club. Don’t perform and see if he likes being second fiddle to Wissa.

Ekitike could flop, they need a sure thing upfront which would be Isak, their defence isn't very good, they aren't a shoe in for the title this season and they are worried.
