We've seen Tom Cannon recalled from loan at Stoke to be sold to Sheff Utd last January haven't we? So the answer is yes.
Think it was Burnley and the player primarily. Wasn't Rosenior expecting him to stay and 48 hours later had a red and white scarf above his head?
if we decide to buy him in jan does he need to drive back to leeds then back to us? (assuming hes moved over to east yorkshire )
That's fine, I was just trying to answer his actual question which was whether a club can try to sign a player who has gone out on loan elsewhere. As long as he hasn't played for his parent club, the answer is yes.
Yes. Doesn’t even need to be a recall clause if a team wants to buy him, it will automatically cancel the loan.
I think we will then only have a Premier midfielder (loan) to come in. If our appeal is successful, I can see us moving for Frigan but would have to move one or two out. I’m not sure if the potential move has distracted him, but was dropped to the bench for the last game despite scoring 1 in 3 games (a cracker against Anderlecht). Joseph might move on loan if he does come in.
If we get it reduced to a one window ban, is there still the potential for this to be done in January?
