Contractors moved in immediately after pitch was cleared after the match this evening. Two very large cranes in the car park. Temporary stand going to be erected for the end of season matches immediately after the concerts.
Danny Ward said Lewis ok at his post match interview. Also said he thought the Cas player was unlucky to be binned.
According to the fans comments on the BBC match report, they're saying he should have been red carded because there was no attempt to tackle just go in with the shoulder. Also said there was 7/8 head shots by Cas that got no action. Craven Streat is going to get expanded during the close season so i've heard, it's been so successful.
Hull FC going full on into Salford. 44 nil after 30 min. This could be a new record. Break the 100 point barrier. If this was a boxing match, the ref would have called it off in the first round
Read where Salford have had to bring in 9 loan players to get a team, if an opposing team can't take advantage of that, they need kicking out the League. Edit: For some of their delusional fans they'll be World beaters now and gonna win everything again like they did when the wealthy owners came in.
Agree it's 100% mickey mouse. No match at all and its live on SKY. Its like Hull City's strongest eleven playing at full pelt against a youth's under 18 team who were only cobbled together on Friday.
I am not sure what the record is for conversions in a super league match but Hardaker has notched ten already. Edit - make that eleven.
Why cancel? Salford turned up, they're obliged to play. If Leicester put 6 past SWed by half-time this afternoon should that be called off too?
They won’t put anything like 6 past Wednesday by half time. It’s about some kind of competition. How is this good for the young Salford lads.
Wasn’t very interesting. So I thought I would count the amber seats. Which didn’t take very long as none were in view.
Even the commentators were saying the RFL should be dong something about the whole Salford situation as it was not good for the image of the game.
They'll have turned out knowing they're in for a hiding but they're getting a first team game which I'm sure they'll have wanted. Salford might not survive but I'm sure the lads will.
They've done better than the first team managed against St Helens! The sanctions for not fielding a team might be considered worse than a heavy loss. Also I'm not aware a game can be called off halfway through because the ref thinks the score is embarrassing.
