Just like to add to your last paragraph, Gnonto is over rated and as I keep saying Ramazani i the player to fill the Solomon slot, plus let’s not forget the spaghetti muncher wanted away 12 months ago, I don’t forget and so should some others
I see Gnonto and Piroe as fantastic options from the bench when the game opens up. I'd like better starters before the window shuts.
People wondered why Schmidt wasn’t getting game time last year. Maybe now they see why he was ‘trusted’ as an attacking option but never as a defensive one. On that same basis. Maybe the guys who watch them everyday see their strengths and weaknesses. This is my long winded way of saying, I don’t get the ramazzani love in. It takes more than a step over and a few good finishes to make a premier league player. He has talent, I like him. Fully fit and with the right mind set I don’t doubt he’s an asset. Trust the manager for if/when he’s ready.
Yeah 100% agree with this. Gnoto and Ramazani both are overrated. If we sold one and got a new winger I wouldn’t be arsed. Couldn’t do it in the championship so they’ve got no chance in the PL. Makes sense why we were looking for a RM and LM as I think Farke would happily let Ramazani, Gnoto and Harrison go if he could.
Gnonto was one of the best on view yesterday. Phenomenal work rate. If we sign better I really look forward to seeing him
And if we sell Ramazani and sign better for the same price I’d be very surprised because it would be very unlikely.
Interesting to hear the post game DF interview. He’s put it out there that we need players in to bolster our offensive threat (hardly a surprising comment), but they were looking for the right characters - ones who would fit well within the group. Not just a football ability choice (or words to that effect). Reckon that thankfully rules out the big Billy Bollox type who think they’re the dogs. I reckon Solomon will arrive before deadline day, just hope we can get a striker that also fits the bill.
Unfortunately not Este. Davy hasn't spoken to me for years, never knew why. I did say where I was drinking, but I'm not in the clique apparently.
I think we upset him on here with our political views Shaks then again he’s still mates with Olof so **** knows
Enjoyed the match. Thought we played well, Milan reserve side or not. Schmt sorry for the spelling, isn't the answer. Met alot of fantastic fans from Leeds. Great craic. Can't wait to get over Monday week for the Everton match. All Leeds aren't we.
I don’t think it’s you mate, I just think some people think, “enoughs enough, why am I doing this”? I know he wasn’t your favourite but, when Chippy “left” so did a few others. Maybe, free speech isn’t allowed doesn’t work on a forum with blokes airing their views. I’m definitely not backing Chippy here by the way, he went too far deliberately but I think you’ll find Lee left around the same time as Davy. Jammy concerned me when he went, like you I was scratching my head a bit hoping it wasn’t something I said because I considered him a mate. We’d done stuff other than Leeds and I’d seen his lad growing up but, in the end, it’s only a forum and there are far more important things in life. I hope you are ok pal?
I'm sound thanks. There was a lot of winding up then Narcos and I never went on to get people banned, unlike some. What hurts me with Davy is that I entertained him when he came down to Dublin to watch a Leeds Utd friendly, we shared a room in Leeds after a match, I've met his lovely family and suddenly nothing and yet he still talks to others who were doing the same winding up. But that's life.
I don’t know the ins and outs but but I seriously doubt you upset him. I know there was serious stuff going on with his daughter (Lara?), maybe life got in the way? Shaks, you are actually one of the nicest, what you see is what you get guys on here so I really wouldn’t fret
