Everyone happy? Actually went to the game today, fought for every ball in that second half, don't know what Gareth has said to this team but the best mentality I've seen in a long while, don't give up, get stuck in and chase everything down. Very brave decision to swap Gbode at HT, but that's why he's the gaffer, Gbode gave his all but was never going to break the deadlock for all his hardwork, Andrews knows how to ****house and he knew what to do. It was good seeing Little giving the lads a bit of a chat near the end to keep their heads, calm it down and remain strong, physically and mentally. Chase everything, don't give up and get stuck in, I've repeated myself but it needed saying twice lol. That is the sort of mentality of winners...up the league we go.

Anyway to my predictions for today. My first one is because I've got a bit of a soft spot for someone that really tries but no matter how hard they try, sometimes the set up is not going to work for you... 1. Gbode yes he was taken off at HT, but the lad gave his best and I can't let that go unrecognised. 2. Ogie, yeah well ok, I'm a tad bias and like the lad, eventually PegLeg and Gareth will listen to me and put him in the bring it down like Bayo striker role, trust me on this one lads. 3. Andrews, really all these guys could be number 1, but that's not how this works, so here we. For me Andrews changed the course of the game, big lad, bit of a ****house and up against their number 4 (Flint?) it's what was needed. Fantastic throw by Hutton and it really mixed it up in the box. Now if I could have a 4th place it would be Morris, today he showed why an experienced keeper is important, that close range save in the first half just said it was going to be Gillinghams day, if that had gone in, heads could have dropped, but the cat was spot on and saved our day. Dack you crazy bast... I thought come on mate, get more stuck in, but he waits....and waits...and waits.....and GOAL! Thank you sir. I can still see Little going keep your heads lads, think, concentrate, we can get this over the line and did! Ok I'll shut up now, you can tell I'm happy.
1. McKenzie reliable as ever. 2. Ogie solid in defense good going forward. 3. Andrews gave them problems after coming on held the ball well and won some good flick ons.
Good result, hardly entertaining, neither keeper was exactly busy, but we got the better of a tight game of very little quality. No denying the endeavour and our players worked very hard. Picking 3 players today is not easy as they all gave their all and there wasn't really much between any of them. 1 Dack - The goal is the most important act of the match and the finish was excellent, was also involved in most of our better passing moments. 2 Little - Covered very blade and led my example 3 Ogi - Had is customary 'moment' early on but had a very tidy game and there were one or two much needed interventions. I really hope Andrews can stay fit as he could be the striker we have been looking for. I hope Mastersons injury is not too serious though I thought that we looked very comfortable with Gale and Smith (who was also very good).
