Mayenda has had a poor pre season for me. Still young but we can’t be missing the chances he has in the PL. I wonder if the club will target one more striker
Mayenda is 100% better when he can drop in, hold a defender off, spin and run. In the box he is inconsistent at best. Definitely can improve though so no stress.

Enjoyed that. 2nd half pace was very slow but still much the better side. Not worried about Mayenda at all, he looked super sharp on the term, finishing will sort itself out, he had spells like that last season and just got stronger and stronger. Arguably his best preseason game in terms of overall play
So he’s gone from being a donkey to immense to what….? I’m looking forward to more insightful observation.
Good workout that, loads of positives to take Roefs looks very good and I thiught Reinaldo was so solid throughout Love diarra Sadiki and Talbi - have a feeling all 3 are going to the top. Adingra I'm still not sure about but he does feel the type to put in some match winning performances Mayenda was very good 2nd half but should have scored at least 1 today. Thought he was so much better in the 2nd half and linked played really well and gave his teammates an option throughout
Another good workout and more minutes in the legs and more used to each other. Roof looks assured with the ball at his feet.

Only saw the second half but nice to see and hear us looking a bit sharper in the final third and getting a clean sheet. I know results don’t really matter in pre season but feel in some games we haven’t got the result we deserved so nice for the lads to get a win. That excitement is building now for next Saturday. Haway the lads.
