Mitrovic has had a medical issue too. Its no coincidence that he is allowed to leave this summer after all the goals he scored. We would be signing a big risk. His health might not hold up. We already have injury prone Nmecha. Mitrovic would be a really dodgy signing for the money involved.

I think we go for Muniz, Hojland & Beto are our best chances of getting a 9. Literally no idea who we’d get/go for after those.
Its just the nature of the beast. Window shuts at the end of this month. Things will start moving in a couple of weeks. Something like 60% of transfer business is done in the last week of the window. Liverpool want £40 million for Harvey Elliott. Man City want £45 million for McAtee. Nobody is biting at those prices. In the last two or three days of the window those prices will drop. Clubs know this and that's why deals are done so late. Waiting is the right thing to do from a financial point. We have Piroe and Nmecha for now. Hopefully no injuries in the first couple of games before we can get a deal done. If injuries do occur then you will see us dip in the the market and overpay. I understand the concern but it's not just us that are waiting. Sunderland for all their business still haven't sorted their defence out. They will be starting O'Nien in the Premier League.
Don't think we get any of them to be honest. There are lots of 9's out there. The three you mention have PL experience but there are a few over in Europe that have potential to excel over here. Recruitment and scouting is key.
The 49ers have signed some decent players for modest sums. No way will they splurge tens of millions on a striker. I agree with you lots of decent players out there who would have the chance to improve at Leeds.

Left field today reports in Italy that we have agreed a fee with Sousolo for Andrea Pinamonti. Italian striker but only 11 goals last season and apparently he doesnt want to come?
1. Why would we agree a fee with the club, surely we should have sounded out the player to see if he wanted to join first? 2. If true, why don’t we try signing players that do want to join us?
I know Joesph was on his way out anyways. but, surely by letting him go we have a replacement in the pipeline.
