I hope they lose the late scoring habit by next weekend, although we didn’t give them a late goal in our last game at Portman Road
Nice of Sky to point out it was Hurst's first championship goal of season. Don't reckon I'd have worked that one out.
That looked like two teams who know they should do well this season but also know going up isn’t actually that good for them
Happy with that. Both sides drop points. And if Birmingham do stumble in their opening fixtures, their momentum from last season could quickly fizzle out.
Yep agree massively, they go to Leicester quite early on too I think so hopefully they do stutter a bit.
Bloody hell just realised that the unit Birmingham defender Klarer, is the same Christopher Klarer that was captain of our youth teams a few years ago. I recall how a lot of us were quite pissed off about him being released as he seemed to have a lot of hype. Should have held on to him.
The feel you get from that game was that Ipswich will only get better, whereas Birmingham will need time to bed in and see how they play when their home atmosphere won't be as hostile as it was tonight i.e. opening match, just promoted etc.
