I'm relaxed about it all... There's every reason to be encouraged by the standard of player Newcastle is aiming for. It's a banter nightmare at the moment, but it'll be fine in the end. People have short memories! I would have dreamed of being even involved trying to sign the same players as Liverpool Chelsea and Manchester United once upon a time. If this is me saying this then people really have lost themselves.
I've gotten more inline with this thinking tbh. The fans are the ones giving people banter, it's all self inflicted. No one would have caught on we missed out on 2 players if our lot didn't have a ****ing meltdown about it

I realise its just another example of your usual hyperbole on here but just pointing out that it really isnt the end of the world and some of us just enjoy watching us play. Its great to watch a winning team but being the best in the world, or even the PL, while great, doesn't mean that we won't enjoy watching them this season. Have only seen Jackson at Chelsea and what I saw didnt impress me. He wasn't a team player and he doesn't really bring enough else to make it worthwhile dealing with that. Think Wissa would be a lot better than some think. I was more impressed with him than Mbuemo at Brentford. Happy with Openda or Samu if we could get them. Think there is a reason why Osimhen did not get the move he wanted after Napoli and would be dubious of a move for him.
