A chance for what - play himself into the team ?

He'd be booed with every touch - Farke would get the message. Harrison is Persona Non Grata, and has to go.

My other thought was, were not letting them have him until after we play them, just so it doesn't come back to haunt us first game.

    Nah, he's ****ing **** and we're lumbered

Nice idea, but Everton have not made an approach and I read that they'd had a bid of £27m rejected by Southampton, for their left sided winger Dibling.

So maybe Everton might come back to Harrison. Tbh, he doesn't have anywhere else to go.

Re Harrison. At 90k a week he’s a luxury we can’t afford to ignore. If we can’t shift him he’ll have to be utilized by us and fans will just have to suck it up

Kinda playing devils advocate here but is what Harrison done actually that bad? I think if his mum didn’t pipe up (not his fault) he’s kinda in the same boat as Aaronson and actually better than what Gnoto and Joseph have done. He helped us to promotion, did well in the PL and then used a clause in his contract to make sure he kept his full pay rather than getting half of it. He doesn’t support Leeds either and he’s turned up back at training as per his contract this season and got his head down. I think we need better but for someone who Everton would take, Moyes & Bielsa liked and played 34 games in the division last season I think we could do a lot worse.

He’s not a moaner and will just do as he’s told. And tbh I would prefer us to bring in better but if we can’t I think he’d do fine and tbh I’d rather keep him than give him to Everton for a cut price, even if we don’t play him because Everton are the sort of team we need to be beating this year. If Moyes thinks he strengthens them then I wouldn’t really be happy giving him to them.

I can't help but agree, sadly it's more personal for me that I just think he is crap and has the odd decent game

spot on.... he's a consumate professional. As fans its a crime to not make sacrifices for our club. As a player it's just business. And loyalty goes both ways... Radz was trying to push him out of the door.

He's a 'will do a job' type player... stick to instructions, work hard... he just has no x factor... like the rest of our forward line.

That’s the thing isn’t it. We want complete loyalty even though they’re getting abuse week in, week out however when we want out it’s very much thank you, see you later (see Bamford). Imagine it was the other way around.

Emotive sport fella. We all turn into sensitive emos with regard to our club. It's nonsense really but we can't help ourselves. Take the 'rats'. If someone came to me in my job and said you can stay here for a year on less than half wages or go to another firm on full wages, everyone would think i was nuts if i didn't jump ship.

He was one of those to jump ship when we got relegated and did not come back voluntarily. Yeah his mum might have tried to burn her son's bridges, but Harrison did nothing to contradict her.

I'm not even sure that he wants to play football anymore Tbh. And to think we rejected £22m for him from Newcastle.
