I have to say it's refreshing to hear a manager actually answering questions and going into detail rather than the usual non-answers and deflection
I told you all Jak was going to be the real deal whilst everyone was still crying about Selles. Also Hughes, not sure he’s better than Greaves. Better in the ball definitely. A lot more suspect defensively. Fortunately for him, that’s probably the most improvable thing for a football player. Defenders seem to one day just flick a switch, and all of a sudden they’ve got it all dialled, and they just become solid and dependable. News of Pandur suitors surprises me unless it’s just chancers. He was obviously our best player last season but I don’t think he was particularly a stand out in terms of the division or even vs our previous keepers over the last couple of decades. The one position we have definitely been spoiled rotten in to be fair.
I haven’t listened to his latest one but I like the cut of his jib already. Makes a change to Sellés constantly repeating ‘uhh we hab to be gombedidive’, Walter’s weird passive-aggressiveness and Rosenior sounding like he’s delivering a Ted Talk.
I haven't, my luck had to change for the better one day. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Centre halves don’t mature till they are 25 plus anyway. All about learning positions etc not making rash decisions. I always make Delaney as the prime example. He became a decent Premier League centre half in his latter years, despite some slagging him off constantly.
The head coach talks to James Hoggarth ahead of the new season. Listen here:https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0lv8m3z
I did the Finnhamn swim-run last August. 22km in total, 18km of running and 4km swimming. 16 runs and 15 swims. You run and swim in the same kit. So run in your wetsuit and swim in your trainers. You can use a pull buoy and hand paddles to give your legs some rest while swimming but need to carry them on the run. It was really fun and challenging. I've done triathlons in the past but the in and out of the water was completely different. Especially at 51
The great thing about being a city fan is that due to our modest success in the past, every new signing or appointment has a decent chance of becoming a legend. No reason why Sergej can’t surpass Taylor, Brown and Bruce.
Midfielder Tyler Morton has completed a permanent move away from Liverpool, joining French side Lyon.
I take it they got their financially induced relegation revoked then, or has he joined the French 2nd division?
