Now don't get ahead of yourself, it was only Blackburn.

It's not Blackburn that gave me confidence.

We generally play quite well at home vs the big boys, not so much in recent times, but Bruce's first two seasons we always won or came close

    Fair point’s tbh.
I just get a little nervous when some start to get carried away if you follow. The same thing happened both when Keano & SB arrived! (I know MoN has a proven record before I get attacked)
I was away & only got to watch the game last night. I know there’s been about 50+ threads on the game but the one thing I noticed was the number of times Wickham was being held back at set pieces etc. Did others notice this? I’m old school but this was occurring in the box!

I heard Wickham described as having all of the required attributes but lacking in the darker side of the game.
    He'll learn.

Shouldn't need to many if the officials officiated to the rules of the game

    Close game.
I've got Chelski to win by 1 but two mates have the draw.
Having a good week on our predictor here with 6 perfect scores this week.
Trouble is though they are to!

Chelsea to win, I think City are gonna play for the draw now, though. It will be difficult for them to score.

    You F***** beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Times like this I wish I was a REAL gambler.....only kidding.
In fairness one of the two is a Manic & he texted me during the second half "I’m happy to sacrifice my points for the red side of Manchester & the rest of the epl" before Chelski scored.

    Expected City win.

Clichy may be a cliché but clearly a liability.

Lescott and Barry championship at best.

Yaya Toure some nasty little fouls and never got caught.

    Lampard penalty.
    Off Lescott clear handball.

Silva should have had a penalty other end mind,

I enjoyed the game but think Man City don't cope too well when being harrassed. They were brilliant in the first 25 minutes but when Chelsea started to press them I think they lost it and started to get niggly. If Colback and Vaughan get stuck into them we may get a pleasant suprise on New Years Day. Hope MON doesn't play Cattermole in this one, he's almost certain to get his marching orders. Can't wait for the next few home games to come around.
