Seem to recall we had a good pre season under Molby. And a poor one under Taylor when we eventually got promoted. Defence looks solid as long as fitness doesn't become an issue and Williams/Giles can keep their focus. Still short in midfield and up front and wide players are a bit of an unknown until we get Millar and Belloumi back. I'm more encouraged than I was, and it looks like we've shifted high earners to bring in some more pragmatic signings. If we do manage to strengthen overall whilst getting control of the finances then credit to Dublin and his team. Still think we'll do well to break top half though, as things stand
Who’s telling the cleaners they aren’t getting paid for a few dozen years as we’ve paid 2 million a year of wages on Mcburnsie? Good signing anyway.
Has macburnie signed then ? People already talking like it's a done deal, I know the inference is the EFL have given a green light but nowhere have I seen he has put pen to paper and committed as yet. Chickens and eggs folks chickens and eggs !
it’s looking very very promising following Acun cryptic insta post earlier….that kinda confirmed it, without confirming it
Jake Leake - Released - Oldham - One year deal Alfie Taylor - Released - Grimsby Borough (bit of a step down from Leicester wanting him last season or whenever it was, they play in Ferriby's league). Lucas Dawson - Turned down pro terms - Minnesota State University Paul Iggulden - Released - Stocksbridge Park Steels - One year deal
Hopefully get Zambrano and with Matazo, Miller and Belloumi to come back plus Akintola we should have a half decent season, and may get better depending on the appeal Wednesday maybe they will still try get Frigan in to.
If it’s true and we’re paying more than £45K-a-week for McBurnie, then I wish the EFL didn’t sign off on it.
