Funnily enough, I nearly several times over the last few days was going to put up one's of that hostage , stuck in a hole with clearly no food, being made to shovel, but I just find it so grotesque that I couldn't. To think even now, today, no food trucks will be racing against time to save him. He will not be getting airlifted to the UK for treatment anytime soon.

I agree about Benny. He isn’t stopping anytime soon and clearly isn’t arsed about the opinions of world leaders as long as he’s being supported by Trump. He’ll continue to destroy the place in his attempt to make the place totally unhabitable. However, Hamas really aren’t helping matters and are equally to blame for prolonging this ****e. They’re full of bravado now because of statements put out from European leaders and it’s clearly embolden them. Releasing the videos and pictures of the hostages suffering is clearly going to anger the Israeli public and make the suffering for the hostages families even worse. So while these two sides continue to face each other off, the Palestinians and Israeli public are the ones going to be the ones continuing to suffer. In different ways but suffering all the same. I can’t see either side backing down anytime soon.
Right enough mate. I agree that we shouldn’t put up any pictures of the people suffering from either side. It isn’t nice to see and there’s enough of it on the news for people with a morbid interest in it all.

Yeah Hamas need to do one. According to most Israeli intelligence services, they are done militarily. Israel have achieved what they set out to do and have degraded them to the point where they are no longer a viable threat. This is the time to end this conflict now and get a future plan in place where the PA can govern a united West Bank and Gaza, probably with support from Egypt and Jordan at least initially and allow Israel to be a part of that process in terms of managing their own security (and that doesn't mean blockades, border walls, curfews etc) but a proper agreement where both sides have their security guaranteed. But this is the rub, Benny doesn't want any of that. And he's propped up by people who are pushing him to annex Gaza for a future Jewish settlement. Did you see the post I put up where Settlers had already drawn up plans to rename Arabic towns in Hebrew and to rename all of the different parts of Gaza City in with Jewish names ? There is never going to be any peace in that region until Palestine is established as a sovereign state. Because until it is, there will always be a reason for a fight with Israel.
Arthur James Balfour They could have had the whole of North Dakota and it would have been 8x bigger than Israel I get it, Israel is the promised land for the Jews and Jerusalem is their capital, but what seems to have been lost is that this is a shared land with the Palestinians, who also see Jerusalem as their capital. There's a solution to this, based on the pre 1967 borders. But it means that Israel have a lot to give up, because they have taken so much. And they don't want any part of it. (Not under BB anyway)
