Scrap the party system, Councils and MP's, and elect local representatives, one of whom acts as the area 'rep' for each region on national issues. It could even be different local 'reps' for different issues, so there is a more informed process and less chance of corruption.

Overheads cut by well over half in one fell swoop.

There are few areas of government that actually bother to check if their predictions were actually accurate. Traffic growth on new and revised roads is another that don't revisit their initial estimates as a matter of course.

You said it was a "ban". You said it was evidenced by the video where the Plod can clearly be heard saying "section 42", then you said the Police had reversed the decision and that it wasn't a "ban" after all.

I never said they were banned. I posted a link from someone saying they were, and I also posted several links from people saying they weren't.
