So far I have Leeds ok defence wise , midfield about mid table but strikers bottom 3 , over all we might just survive , but we need more fire power and goals , what's your accessment ? And what players would you go for in transfer market to get us those goals either by assists or strikers?
Farke agreed with you yesterday post match so hopefully we can attract a couple of Quality signings for the offensive part of the job
Yes , but the problem is we keep going for strikers with stats of 1 goal in 5 matches etc this is no good in the premier league , I will highlight this.
Lukas Nmecha ²¹ Lukas Nmecha https://share.google/Adg2YeAlxyxhINxCD 19 matches 3 goals = 1goal every 6 matches in bundesleaguer
I think it’s almost impossible for newly promoted clubs to buy a proven goal scorer for this league. They’re like gold dust and cost a fortune.
Well to be fair, the club clearly stated that Bornauw had been brought in as a squad player. Who do you think is Premier League quality AND available ?
So who do you want? It’s easy to criticise the club but people need to suggest a credible, available and affordable name that wants to join (considering every signing we make is a gamble).
Charlie kelman valued at 650k could take a chance on has not got premier league experience but a good scoring record , who would've thought Kevin keegan coming from scunthorpe would've done anything
This. You have to buy: - someone who scores in another league and hope it translates. - a young prospect and hope he’s ready to step up - someone deemed surplus to requirements at a top club who you hope still might be good enough to do a job in a lower level team key word in those points was ‘hope’
Charlie kelman is not premier league but has the goal scoring record although against lower league teams but shows he can score and good consistent figures and only 23y old and only 650k definately worth a punt
Let's go fir a home grown player then up and coming charlie kelman 23y old and 650k at that price can take a gamble
Charlie Kelman has scored 47 goals in 209 games. That not even 1 goal in 4 games. He has failed to score a goal in any of the 23 Championship games he has played. Last season he did well, scoring 21 goals in 46 games for Leyton Orient in League One. That is the only time he has managed double figures for goals. Also Charlton Athletic just paid £3.5m for him less than a week ago, so I doubt we would have been able to buy him for £650k. He's a good gamble for a Championship side, based on his performance from last season
