    Can we re-sign Bergwijn...?

By the way, does anyone know what Saido Berahino is up to now?

Son is going at the right time and it looks like we won't be facing him in any games as LAFC looks to be his chosen destination, plenty of south Koreans in LA and from what I remember onmy last visit no shortage of very good restaurants
It would be nice to say a decent goodbye though

Berahino has to be one outstanding sliding door moment for this club, Levy must wake up some nights screaming Noooooooo and then realise it was just a nasty dream after a late night visit to the cheese room

    Happy Birthday Roo,

Sonny leaves a proper hero, good time to go in my opinion, but that doesn't it any easier to say goodbye.

I still think that it's too early for Son, but if it's his decision then he's certainly done enough to earn it.
Our current options in his position aren't good enough yet though, unfortunately.
Tel, Odobert and Moore all have massive potential, but we need a right now player.

The obvious replacement options are probably Wissa and Lookman.
Both appear to be available, not unreasonably priced and have experience.
They've both shown an ability to play on the left and up front.

We've still got a lot to do in this transfer window, in my opinion.
Levy won't rush and it'll drag on, but some things need to happen quickly.

Xavi Simons' move to Chelsea is looking a bit flaky

That being said, he does give off the vibe of downing tools to force a move if there's so much as a whiff that a club with deeper pockets is interested

Well with Maddison badly injuring his right knee again and most likely out until the new year and Kulu some way off returning it’s essential we bring in an attacking 8/10.

The money was there for the MGW deal which never materialised so there’s absolutely no excuses from the club to not sign a similar player.

Would love Eze but it seems he wants Arsenal or he will stay , would probably take Harvey Elliot from Liverpool, Hes a **** house but he is a very good player. Parqueta from West Ham would be ideal but doubt West Ham would sell another big player .

Delighted we will have Palinha as the DM we’ve needed for years.

Another LB/RB ( depending which side Frank wants him to play ) is imperative too .

Then ideally another versatile forward as Richy and Tel aren’t good enough leading the line.

Less than 2 weeks to the season starts we need 2 of those 3 players coming in quickly .

Yes we now have a large 10 shaped hole in the team. Has to be addressed.

I feel for Maddison ... his third major injury in 3 just two years with us.

Like others have said, Eze is Arsenal bound, as we can't get him Elliot would be a decent punt.
Would also be tempted to look at Garnacho as an option on the wing. Scores roughly 1 in 4 games, and is quite dynamic off the bench.

It’s awful seeing injuries to our players, but I think this is the only way we see some more quality additions during this window, sadly. Especially when you consider how quiet we’ve been and how little time there is before the season starts.
I’m beginning to think that Daniel’s mentality going into the transfer window was very much that the players underperformed last season, and Frank will get more out of them. Therefore, very few additions, and no need to spend much.
But perhaps injuries will change that now.

Ademola Lookman wanting out of Atalanta could be good timing for us, given he can play as an AM or winger and also helps our HG numbers

Also the fact we were linked with him when he was still at Charlton, IIRC

Is he? I know we've spoken to him and I know he wants to come, but my understanding is that we can't do much until we've offloaded a couple of players. If Trossard/Martinelli and Reiss Nelson leave, for example, then that would probably accelerate the chances for a move.

However, a lot still needs to happen for that to be the case and so far, nothing is on the horizon. I reckon you have a good chance to get Eze if you really want him. Because it doesn't seem like we're going to do much else unless we shift a few out.

The need for a premier league ready 10 and a left winger are now beyond urgent..Eze would be great paired with Grealish where both can play in both positions would be ideal but I doubt that either will be joining us. McAtee and Elliott might be more manageable but I am not totally convinced that either are what we really need.

When we were first linked with Xavi Simons it seemed we were going for a LW/AM hybrid

    That's where Lookman fits

The catch with players like Mcatee and Elliott is that they are a similar age to Tel and Moore i.e. very young.

If we are hedging our bets that one or both of the latter two will flourish into a top player, what we really need is an option who will buy us and them time to develop.

I think Wissa or Grealish could be interesting in that regard. Bring them in for a few years and then hopefully we'll have a long term successor ready in the wings.

Odd the amount of ex-Spurs who wind up in LA, given Robbie Keane and Gio Dos Santos wound up at LA Galaxy
