This set up looks so much better. Helps that Brighton have took a few of their starters of, but thankfully we won’t be facing the likes of Mitoma etc next season

I had assumed he would anyway but I think today has probably sealed it

Any thoughts on Manning vs Wellington (bearing in mind I haven't watched a single minute of pre-season)?

When it comes to Sugawara v Bree, my pick is Sugawara without a doubt. But I'm totally undecided when it comes to Wellington v Manning.

Wow we really needed that second half to breathe some positivity into Saints.

Leaning towards Wellington but think Manning might be better in a back four.

They were both good, imo. I think Welington looked very good in that last 30 minutes but Manning was positive up to then.

Didn't bother with the 2nd half but it sounds like the first time we have played well during pre season?

Certainly better late than never! Hope that gives them some idea of what works for Wrexham.

Wellington for me. Better defender and more athletic.

Robinson is so good that I am much less bothered what happens with Dibling. What a conveyor belt we have going again. And after winning the U16 Masters in NI, it looks like continuing.

Tbh, I don’t think we looked like a football team until we went with a back 3 and based on how we then played I would be happy to start that way next week.
Yuki and Welington might not be the best defensively, but at Championship level they will give us so much going forward, as they are both prepared to run with the ball.
Robinson must start, based on everything he has done in pre-season.
Charles now looks like a proper player and, when we went 3 at the back, he also got forward well.
With 3 CBs, do we need 2 DMs at this level?
The only downside to 3 CBs is that we need to pick 3 attacking midfielders from Robinson, Fernandes, Matsuki and Dibling (and one of Downes or Charles if we only play one DM). Although we will probably lose 1 or 2 of them.
Starting to get a little excited now.
