Well we were apparently after Ekitike to play alongside and support Isak and we apparently had £75m or whatever to spend on him 3-4 weeks ago. Who’s to say we’re not after him for the same reason and not as a replacement for Isak. Obviously if Liverpool come in and slap £200m on the table (that’s closer to what I believe we should be selling him for) then in my view we’d be stupid to turn it down. Unless Isak signs a new contract, commits his future to the club (at least for the duration of his new contract) he’s probably gonna be off next summer in any case.
