Lads scored about 2 goals in 498 games he can gan Burnley thanks. Injury seems to have pickled him which is a shame.
I think the initial excitement on here about Lammens was during a transfer quiet spot so it took off quickly and we spoke about him more. Roefs was the day after Xhaka was confirmed so understandably kind of got swept under the rug a little bit and I suppose didn't get the attention he deserved. Lammens was in his first season as a pro at 23 and was the best keeper in Belgium, Roefs was in his first pro season at 22 and was the best keeper in the netherlands - suppose it depends what you want to take from the quality of leagues but I think price and ability considered we've probably got the better deal.
Yeah I championed him a couple of times on different loans and just didn't do it Think at some point it'll click for him but don't think it'll be in the prem now
Considering we thought we’d be going for cannon fodder and barely changing the team, aye. I think Diakite on his own can have a massive impact. He’s just dominant and game reading. To pair him with a lefty is just such an ideal world.
Aye if I could pick one be Diakite all day and night. Soon as we were linked I thought ‘surely not’ and that’s not changed. I still can’t see it but my god if it happens I’ll be on one.
Yep, i think he's probably a year too soon for us but you never know with our ambitious project We likely still have 100 million to spend
You get two loans from the prem (well England but we're not likely loaning from West Brom). It does make sense to use it on a CF given how expensive they are generally to buy. I can't imagine using one of two slots on someone as injury prone as Broja. I do like him as a player but he could disappear in late September and then you're stuck until the January window to get a new loan in. There must be a less risky option out there for them. Edit: If they are buying him then that is worse... At least you get to give back the crocked player at the end of a loan
Not sure if I want this to happen as it would probably see Isak leave, or don't want it to happen as I rate Sesko so highly.
Interesting, I’m not convinced with sesko. Athlete but his ball striking / finishing isn’t all that tends to just hit it as hard as he can. Don’t think he’ll be as useful for the wingers either
