He's thinking I want to go and Newcastle stopped me. Its mental gymnastics to assume he's upset with the buyer offering twice what Newcastle paid for him.

Reinvest.... On what... we cant sign players now nevermidn with £120-140M in our pockets. Wissa will go from £27M to £50M. All of other targets will increase by 30-40%.

We only sell when our recruitment is finished if and only then and preferably not to Liverpool

They should have just offered what he is worth. And that’s more than Wirtz. Hes a £150m striker. If Liverpool genuinely had some respect for NUFC and Isak they should have played ball.

Ultimately our owners are minted and they don’t need the money. So they will just tell Liverpool to crack on.

Dont give a **** what Isak's thinking. He sure wasn't thinking of NUFC or the fans when he started down this path

True but that’s our own inability to get deals done and stop the leaks of transfer dealings. We seem incapable of making signings without the whole world knowing weeks in advance.

It’s proper frustrating. Let’s hope we sign 2-3 good players sell Isak for 150m plus and we have enough PSR money to buy in the next two windows when everyone else has spunked their cash.

Not saying otherwise but this idea Isak has suddenly become annoyed at Liverpool is nonsense. He might be hoping they bid more but ultimately it's Newcastle stopping him.

BTW this is probably all just Liverpool trying to keep the price down when it does go through and they might even go 150 in the end.

Fans seem to think clubs don't care about a few million, but they do and it's odd coming from guys that use coupons.

Yasir will have been heavily involved in telling Liverpool to piss off.

He wants to go to Liverpool there is no doubt about that. Remember the Isak/VVD interaction where he basically said come to us we want you. That’s when Isaks head was turned.

They have been tapping him up for months.

Isak wants to go to Liverpool. 100%!

150m to PIF is a coupon mate. If they have Instructed the club to not accept any bids that is basically what will happen.

I don’t think that’s right btw. We need the transfer fee to be as high as possible to enable us to spend big.

But the club can’t buy a chomp at the moment because of PSR.

He may want but PIF will never allow that to happen. It's almost as if PIF are saying to the clubs that made life difficult for them following the takeover that they can go **** themselves.

Scores a winning goal or a hat trick in the first game back and fans will love him again. So long as kisses the badge as well.

Btw it's that media spin thing I was going on about.

The story is now Liverpool won't bid x amount, but if this was vice versa thr story would be the Newcastle failed in their attempt.

True and I do in some way want them to destroy the notion that Liverpool can buy him.

But realistically because of PSR we could do with the headroom. PIF can easily be stubborn and **** both Isak and Liverpool off and I would like that. But it doesn’t actually help NUFC.

Isak will stay and go abroad to a bigger club than Liverpool next summer. I can deal with that.

PIF flexed their muscles today and Liverpool **** themselves.

Damn straight. He may indeed do that. But it still remains that he showed his hands and he wanted to leave. At least “so we are told”.

This could all be a distraction for how **** our team are about signing players.

I heard that the Ramsdale deal can’t get over the line because they want him with a picture catching a ball and he simply can’t do that.

    True story.

That would be the ideal situation. Like if PSG came in with a 130m offer up front I would stubbornly accept that and drive Isak to France via the channel tunnel personally.

I think that will happen. Isak is that good and deserves an elite club like Madrid or PSG.

I think Liverpool fans have been in love with him since he scored and had that goal Disgracefully disallowed for not actually being offside. He tore them apart in that first game against them.
