My aunt uncle and cousins grew up in Birkdale Close at the top near the backroads to Swanland. Used to ride up there on my bike to go see them, always took me to the Beach Tree when it was decent all those years ago.
How are old are you, unless you don’t want to say, had a few friends from South Cave when I lived in England, but most of them moved away.
Sigh. We went through this before, this is like being stuck in a loop. Whenever we want to sign a striker, we wait and wait, they go somewhere else and then we scrabble around on deadline day and bring in somebody we didn't really want in the first place, decide they're **** and they spend the rest of their time here making 2 minute cameos every other week before being bunged off to Doncaster, Antalyaspor or Bristol Rovers. Just. Sign. A. Striker. In June, having held discussions in May and having identified him in January. Like every other club on the planet seemingly does when they want a striker.
As beautiful as it is, its a bastard when your doing an audax on a bike and the hills just keep on coming...
Baz’s messaging was a bit weird too. He’s not currently our player but we are trying to get them to register him so we can sell him immediately?
Maybe if they had a buyer lined up (concrete) the EFL would see it as a financial benefit and allow it...
It’s as clear as mud. As I understand it, he’s our player. We had transfer agreement with Leverkusen that was triggered, he is contracted to us until 2028 and we have been paying his full salary for July, at least. English football doesn’t permit co-ownership of players, only sell-on clauses, so Puerta’s contract belongs to Hull City entirely. The issue seems to be that we can’t register Puerta for EFL competitions due to the fee restriction coming into force before we could register him. The EFL don’t have any authority to tell us he isn’t our player and that we need their permission to sell or loan him out.
He needs a significant input of money DJ..Most of that squad needed shipped out at the end of last season,it hasn't happened. I think he's going to struggle? The young lad from Wednesday looks decent though. Just hearing he's got the young boy,Mikey Moore, from Spurs
To be honest, it's just **** journalism and Baz has a tendency to make things overcomplicated, he did it with the Giles thing too.
