In his post-Bristol City press conference, Tom Cleverley says that no approach has been made for Bali Mumba and that the player has been working hard towards the start of the season. He says the No 11 shirt is a challenge for Mumba who he thinks has the attributes to be a very good attacking player. I’m glad he’s seen that blindingly obvious fact when a series of Argyle managers have not!
Argyle striker target Rumarn Burrell....signs for QPR. We need a No9.....but don't seem able to gert one.
Argyle's new left back Jack MacKenzie ex-Aberdeen player... who missed the last two friendlies will also miss the start of the season...."tendinopathy"....is the reason given.
Never give up England win the final. Maybe Spain where the more skilful team....but they new how to cheat with free kicks gained that should never have been given.....Lucy Bronze booked when it looked as if she had been fouled.....and the Ref at times got it wrong and penalized England.......got our just reward in the end.
It seems we've switched out attention to N Forest striker Dale Taylor Northern Ireland International.....Blackpool are also showing interest.
Sky Sports are showing these three Argyle games at these new times. Exeter v Argyle...Thurs 23rd Oct at 2000hrs. Port Vale v Argyle...Sat 22nd Nov at 1230hrs. Argyle v Wycombe W...Mon 29th Dec at 1945hrs.
Latest chat is of Celtic central defender...Stephen Welsh...6ft 3in....25yr old....sounds as if he fits the need we have.....but is dropping down to Div One too far ?
Hmmmmm Brady queries Rooney's 'work ethic' at Birmingham https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cdx0yp665e5o
Julio Pleguezuelo has had a reaction to his knee injury whilst playing for the first time this pre-season against Bristol C. It means we are down to three central defenders for the start of the season....one of them being the injury prone Brendan Galloway plus Victor Palsson and Kornel Szucs. This is an area we need to strengthen....plus the vacant No9 shirt.

Talk of Welsh needing a shoulder op ? Had a dig around.....and it seems he has dislocated his shoulder more than once.....we don't need that .....we already have one defender with an injury prone career Galloway.....a good defender who if he kept fit would be playing in a higher division.
Been reading some of the follow up comments after the Fans Form Thursday evening.....Simon Hallett, Andrew Parkinson and David Fox were answering questions from Argyle fans.......many comments that seem to suggest that a feeling that things seem to be a little downbeat regarding what is happening at present at PAFC.
