    He's played more regularly as a 6 in his career but can play as an 8. If Transfermarkt is anything to go by.

    If we can register the young Moroccan lad or persist with Crooks as cover then there is perhaps a possibility of Zambrano if we can get through to Jan and the fee restriction is reduced as expected. Don't think we've quite given up on that deal yet.

    The finances of it are probably dodgy but Lundstram does seem a good signing on paper. It's not like a lot of our Turkish league signings where they've hardly been playing and you don't really trust them to stay fit and be competitive physically in this country. He's done plenty of that before and he's been playing regularly and seemingly doing well everywhere he's gone. Even at Rangers where Ric says he wasn't so popular at the end, he made the team of the year for the league that season so can't have been too bad.

    Think Destan is supposed to be able to play behind the striker. If Crooks has to play deeper in the absence of Lundstram then Palmer gets the nod in the 10 I guess.

    I wouldn't be against a 3 year deal, he's just be turning 32 as it ended, so we shouldn't be hamstring with an ageing player like we would've been had we got Moore last summer.

    He seems to have been leaving little signs on Twitter like the goal he scored against Getafe and the timer emoji and then publicly liking Lundstrams signing post.

    Here's hoping. From a footballing perspective he's about the best we could have hoped for this summer. Just hope the deal is sustainable.
