I’m actually quite excited by Guiu purely because of his talent and that he’s a proper 9. A classic 9. Something we don’t have. Someone who thrives in the box

 

Yeah it’s a bit odd. I’d say we’ve pulled out for whatever reason and they want media or the selling club are sticking the knife in. It doesn’t make sense at this point - they’ll have sounded the agent before anything. Either way I’m sure we have a plan so no stress.

... the transfer window is a maelstrom of nonsense, rumours, agents, guesswork and clubs playing the media.

None of us have a clue unless the club wants us to know, that's why we shouldn't take any of it too seriously.

When the window closes, they're the facts ... until then it's all madness.

 

Yeah I think he's great. Think he ends up playing as a 10/8 so I'm interested to see where whoever buys him plays him.

He’s shown little bits but nothing to show he’s exceptional yet.

We can probably name 20 wingers who were going to be special and failed, or at best turned out ‘ok’ at best.

Tbf I’ve been interested in seeing if we would loan him for a few weeks. Felt like something up our street. I just would have preferred a buy option so when he inevitably goes back we aren’t heartbroken because we can’t get him back haha

 

I just watched them Xhaka vids meeting the lads and such and he just looks alpha as **** doesn’t he.

Strutting in full of confidence, just an air of presence about him.. He is going to be a beast for us.
