MATCH REPORT (league game 1) The 'League Match' stat is based on regular season league matches played since August 1921. It does not include Cup games Play-off games Abandoned games Friendlies of any kind Pre-season games Expunged games from the beginning of the abandoned 1939-40 peacetime season Wartime league games (1939-46) Any games from June 1905 to May 1921 (amateur & non-league eras) As far as I know this is how league games are worked out. I have checked it and it seems to be correct.
Eight days to go, I think it would need a Mystic Meg to predict the starting XI and get more than 6 right. Perhaps the Sheriff would like to rejoin us and share his wisdom?
