They are 100% committed to the ‘club model’ which makes a lot of sense……if it works. But the measures are clear - long term improvement in results and selling players at a profit. The cult of the manager is over, but I’m sure there will be a large proportion of the fan base who never get that.
Indeed. This should have happened a long time ago and it realistically means our ceiling isn’t very high for this season. Our budget is likely in the bottom six but it feels a healthier club than for some time. Obviously it’s a disaster if we go down but for now I think we’ll have enough for an ok kind of season which isn’t very exciting but has us moving in the right direction. We live in a world where Wrexham are spunking £7.5m on ok strikers.
https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2025/august/01/qpr-trust-announce-nick-de-marco-as-new-trustee/ This is quite big news. I think it's good to have Mr Sports Law UK as a trustee.

I think I remember he came on as a sub under Holloway...and got subbed 5 mins later, obviously hasn't forgotten that
Was there. Think they were one of the favourites for the league but we made them look the absolute ****e they’ve been most of the time since. That team, pre-Covid and when they came back, really should have done better.
