I have to say this loan, if Vitek's as good as reports from Man Utd, has increased my anticipation for a good season.
I think we can match most in midfield, we're much stronger up front and Atkinson is a real bonus at the back.
Obviously a lot will depend on how Stokes, Twine, Mehmeti and Yu come to the party.

 

It’s about creativity from midfield that remains a concern for me.

 

They should have given me a consultancy role how long was i banging on for goalkeeper and strikers. someone has got their heads out of the sand.

 

I'm sure Rod will second that.

 

I’ve been banging on about signing a top keeper, top defenders, top midfielders/wingers and top strikers for most of my 58 years.
it all seemed bloody obvious to me.
And a manager who gets them playing attractive attacking football where we score more than 2 goals per game vs the opposition.
FFS it’s taken all this time for the club to semi agree.
Perhaps I should be a paid football consultant??!!!!

 

so change the whole team for around £ 640,000,000...? annually?? .... [ above average costings ] per squad of 25 ]

 

Looks a big unit, hopefully wont get pinned on the line like Max did last season once teams worked out that Max could be bullied

If this guy turns out to be decent, we could/should be top 10 or better this coming season.

 

Josh Brownhill on the move!

 

Funny coincidence on Josh I was just thinking to myself that he is exactly the type of player we need, but would he return and would he fit in with the new crowd? I have watched his career since he left us and he has done really well for himself, rather like a lot of others in the same category that found new ground elsewhere. Not long to go now and I wonder if we will have a final dip into the transfer pool to boost our depth?
