Until he arrived we were recruiting quite nicely. After a year with him we have plenty to spend and can’t get anyone in.

It’s not disputable that things aren’t going well. Where evidence is needed is because certain people are being slated without those doing it having a scoobies who is responsible for anything.

    I'm being serious on this.

Or until Howe gained more control.

Ultimately I keep bringing this back to the same question for a reason and it's that Paul Mitchell knows what recruitment should look like... I don't buy into the speculation that he's this awful guy that all of a sudden knew nothing.

I think he was just telling the truth.

There you go Roland - we're now reportedly after your Woltemade chap, after being turned down by Sesko.

From one of the fastest strikers available, to one of the slowest <laugh>

We won’t get him either. Under the passive, indecisive slog of the Howes, we will end up eventually throwing money at DCL and some half baked centre back from the PL like Harwood Bellis.

Traditional top 6 have Spent £1B on players so far (look at the rest of the league spending, it peanuts as they cant afford the wages) Okay Sunderland are trying to do a Notts Forest and good on them but if they fail they are ****ed).
PSR hits all other clubs in multiple ways:

    - Most cant afford to compete on the transfer fee
    - Any club can be gazumped by the top 6 by offering wages that the rest of the clubs cant.
    - Top 6 clubs are now hoarding players so that other clubs cant have them.
    - Clubs like Newcastle cant afford a bad transfer whereas top 6 can afford them with impunity - see Man U
    - Saudi clubs can bail out bad buys........but not at Newcastle.

If you cant see that then I cant help you. No matter what NUFC do, a top 6 club can just swoop in and gazump and that is exactly what we are seeing in this close season.

The post seemed to go to great lengths to criticise the Howes. The second part of the post saying how despicable it was had no “ifs.
The second part of the post was pointless as it was negated by the if. It’s speculation so you don’t need to go to lengths on it because you are as clueless as the rest of us and the journos as to who is responsible for what.

Mate, there are currently about 3 people involved in transfers at the club. Howe, Howe and Nickson. Who else is culpable? Are these three dynamos chasing the next star st Tbilisi, Anderlecht, Lens, etc? Are they hunting down those with release clauses and swiftly securing signatures? Or are they aimlessly ****ing about like idiots, making this one of the worst transfer windows relatively speaking we’ve ever had?

Feels absurd to pin the blame on some exec when we know who’s on the transfer “team”.

Yes but the fact is we don’t actually know the details on any of the scouting, bids or anything. What’s happening is a mess but blaming individuals without actual evidence is stupid

Like I say it starts with If so I don't know what more I can say.

There's been some awful speculation on Mitchell mate.

Well if I say it after the fact, it doesn’t carry the credibility. Better to be wrong now.

There's been far worse rants about the Mitchell speculation and nothing I said was anywhere near as unpleasant.

Nothing I said was personal but of course don't waste on opportunity to burn a witch.
