Irankunda was certainly quick and skillful . Hopefully Pollock is ok . Certainly seemed to be more mobile up front and press well .
Selvic was very steady and made some good saves, they kept possession very well and knew how to go down when we won possession back and pleaded for their lives when they took one of our players out, bit like our girls against Spain in the Euro Final Sissoko looked good when he came on Overall a very good runout preseason
We are still missing a few players and got a very young side out plus Sissoko. Think we have more pace and skill in the side but bit sloppy at times and the press was broken a lot particularly on the left side .
https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/25353581.watford-announce-end-physical-matchday-programmes/ No more programmes! I'm not too surprised given other clubs have done this, but I am disappointed. I can't make many games, so often get one when I go, and it makes me feel more connected to the club having the match specific statements from the manager, captain, etc. Glad I got one for the last game I went to last season against Hull. I think it's a bit sad, and another footballing tradition that's dying.
When I left England, I was able to hand over my collection to a 12-year-old. Some were single sheets from reserve games, but altogether there were fifty years of Watford history in those programs.
Sadly I've also seen that the Golden Pages fanzine stopped at the end of last season too. I wonder if there's a gap in the market now for anyone selling fanzines outside the ground? Or are there other fanzines people are selling I'm not aware of?
