I actually don't care if we can't be #1.

I DID actually want a club that tries - and I think we really have and are still going to.

I get that it might not be perfect and the dirty 6 might well have closed ranks just to step on our heads. And we might just be the 'best of the rest' for a long time. We might even continue to fight the likes of Spuds and Manure for that last CL place or maybe a cup.

But that is still streets ahead of where we were. So I'm still going to enjoy the rude, wven if the dirty 6 are throwing obstacles onto the road. It's actually fun seeing them squirm at the very thought of us breaking through.

It's only 4 years in and people do seem to forget the info was always given as 5 to 10 years.

I've actually had people correct me on that and say it was 5, but they're completely wrong and all you have to do is see the first interview with Staveley.

It's been a **** summer, and recruitment isn't fit for purpose, but if we're still like this in 2030 I'll serve up my own balls to myself on a plate.

 

What's the point? What is the actual point? There is no point in being a football club anymore. There is no sport, there is no competition. Apart from the top 6, the rest are being told, you are there to make up the numbers and to make us look good. If by pure chance you win something, then we will close ranks to make sure it doesnt happen again.

Everyone looked at Leicester when they won the league as proof, anything is possible. Well lets see how they got on:

Leicester - relegated and now have year after year cases brought against them. In PSR hell

Aston Villa - got Champions League, took a gamble to try and secure 2nd year. Gamble failed and have not spent a penny since. In PSR hell

Newcastle - well we all now. PSR and APT hell

I almost entirely agree. Although I would say that I don't care that we aren't #1. I do care if we (or any other team than the current 'big' 5) can't ever be, because if there is no real possibility of reaching the summit, then the sport is essentially dead.

There was no need it say it was speculation because I used the word if. The word If shows I was aware.
