The owners went with Howe and his nephew because of what the players had achieved. I would imagine they now know this was a mistake.
Should have struck while the iron was hot and everyone was on cloud 9 straight after the cup win, turn around and offer him double you money, and a bit, then and I think he'd have signed it personally - obviously he could have been intending on going this summer regardless but if he'd not accepted a new contract at that point we could have started making plans and not ended up in the situation we are now . No good showing up after the horse has bolted the field with a lump of sugar at the gate looking at an empty field.
Mitchell has left and he's probably laughing and enjoying this having been ignored and beaten down by a guy with less experience and knowledge. This is on Howe there's no way out on this one.
It’s sooooo boring. No one is bedwetting. We are looking at things as they currently are and making our opinions. Your allowed yours so we are allowed ours. That’s the whole point of the forum. To make opinions.
Back in UK Remember all, we aim to be number 1 The last command they give was to ignore what we are seeing...
We lost a game against some amateur team in Korea. Our best player was actually the kid we signed from Korea. The rest of the players in the game looked like they couldn’t be arsed. The tactics were crap. Predictable and boring. And we have nearly either Ramsdale. Sesko wants to join Manu. And our next target we might fail to sign is Munez. All good though.
It's interesting that people talk about Howe as though he runs the whole club. Howe, just like any other coach/manager (which is what he is), is disposable. And decisions around structure, roles & responsibilities and the recruitment of those roles lies with those actually in charge of running the club. If people really want to call the current state of the club a mess (a point of view) then perhaps speak to the following for allowing it to happen: "At Newcastle United, the senior management roles include CEO, Technical Director, Head of Football Operations, and Director of Finance, all reporting to the CEO. Specifically, Darren Eales, is the Chief Executive Officer. Other key figures include Sudarshan Gopaladesikan as Technical Director, Jack Ross as Head of Football Operations, and Claire Alexander as Director of Finance. Additionally, Peter Silverstone is the Chief Commercial Officer, Brad Miller is the Chief Operating Officer, and James Bunce is the Performance Director. The Chairman is Yasir O. Al-Rumayyan. The full board of directors at Newcastle United Football Club consists of six members: Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Jacob Solis, Abdulmajid Alhagbani, Asmaa Rezeeq, Roger Thornton and Jamie Rueben."
True. Can't see anywhere where I've said people can't bedwet, can you? And as you correctly say, I'm entitled to have my opinion and express it on the Forum, which I have. So, chill.
No not at all. I want Howe to do his managerial job of managing the football team. I then want the club to get the right people in to manage the club. Scout for players. Do deals and develop the stadium and training ground. None of that **** should be on Howe. It probably isn’t. But it seems like he’s doing more than he should be.
