Match Day Thread Who Are You Bantams v Chairboys 2nd August 25

It's been three long months but the Chairboys are back in action with a trip to Yorkshire to take on the newly promoted Bantams at Valley Parade our last visit in the league was 7 years ago but we have also visited twice in cup competitions two seasons ago winning the last three our last defeet came twelve and a half years ago.
Dodds has totally changed the team during the summer but Kone will start up front.
I won't be travelling but I will be keeping a close eye on the game and let's hope the new squad has gelled and we can start the season with all three points

 

Who do you fink will be on the bench?

 

That is the big question & even bigger one who's going to be in the starting 11

I can’t see Kone staying if he is asked to be a lone striker. I have a (bad) feeling it’s going to be, hit is long to Fink and ask the others to feed off scraps.

 

No Kone as Dodds reckons all the transfer speculation has got to him but we have offered Kone a new contract.,

We don't seem to be very good against "League 2 sides"

 

I would have to say in seasons past it was always a case don't get relegated from League 1 then it moved to being happy in mid table, moved on again to last couple of seasons a top ten finish, now after the changes a top six finisf is what' expected. This should be an ideal first fixture being away to a team that only just scrapped out of League 2
