Couldn’t see a thread on this so decided to add one, not sure if many of you on here take part but it’s great fun. Thread for general discussion ie transfers, team selection etc. Even better now that we are back in the PL and our players are available to use. Anyone know of any decent Sunderland fan leagues?

Wondering if Xhaka is a shout with these new defensive contributions for bonus points. Lad who’s finished top 200 in the world a few times has Mayenda in his current draft
Aye I think everyone did! Need to have a read myself before I commit my team but watching a few content creator videos they’ve mentioned the changes this season to defensive contributions so they’ll get more points for tackles etc. Good to mix it up and make more midfielders viable but also CB’s because they were never really worth choosing over full backs
I am absolutely useless at this, but will have a go if there is no limit. I dont want to take a spot from someone who knows what they are doing? How many times can I pick Dan Neil?
All part of the fun mate.. most people just copy content creators and all have the same team for most of the season no fun in that at all!
Have you entered your team? You pick 2 GK’s. 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 strikers. You pick 11 from that every week depending on which teams are playing and which players you’ll think have a good chance of scoring points. So you could lob Dan in your squad and he’ll be a really cheap option leaving money to spend elsewhere and you don’t need to pick him if you don’t think he’ll play or we have a tough fixture and you think he’ll struggle to pick up points.
My team is just on auto select for the time being. I’ll put it together a day or two before the season starts. It can become a head fcuk if you pick your team now and then transfers start happening. You’re constantly gong back and forwards with it.
