There were quite a few sniggers when Magnus posted this but it's only a month ago ... ... incredible what's happened in the meantime. What's that phrase ... self fulfilling prophecy is it "A psychological phenomenon where a belief or expectation, whether accurate or not, influences behavior in a way that makes the initial belief come true." Haway lads, let's keep praying!
Fair enough mate, I'll probably stick to my opinion then. Obviously Mayenda is more capable out wide but I think profile wise they aren't too dissimilar.
If this window has taught me anything, it’s that we’re capable of pulling a load of mad stuff from seemingly nowhere. We’ll be linked to Guiu and someone we’ve not heard of will sign tomorrow.
They can never be made happy for long. Paul Hayward once came up with this unforgettable sentence in one of his pieces in The Telegraph: ' Football supporters suffer from a congenital brain disorder which prevents them from ever being satisfied' He was talking at the time about Real Madrid supporters who were hounding outJupp Heynkes , not long after he had won them their first European Cup in nearly thirty years. But the sentence could have easily been written for that lot. They are beyond satisfying and almost beyond parody.
Don't expect anything else mate. The last thing I heard, before this, was that we were going back to the old Ship badge ... ... and that was only half true
He seems to have the balance right. Help when it can be given, then back behind the scenes and let the pros get on with it Mind, for all that, he's nee Stewart Donald!
Gabriel Sara anyone? https://www.footballfancast.com/job...5p1xsza3inLva1AZwG_aem_CCFTMsecqT7Av9pH5HUzsg
I’d be happy with guiu, Mayenda and Isidor if it also means we spend some cash on a ready made winger. As I feel those 3 plus adingra talbi Mundle and a ready winger will get enough goals But if we don’t I’ll be a bit more worried about the guiu signing I’ll trust the club though for sure we’ve got 4 people signing off on transfers
