I think the OP has really let the Lionesses down here. All this early hype and yet can't even be arsed to post an update ahead of their world cup final match. Very poor effort @CaraMatt Disappointing.
Good game and finally some decent penalties. Thought Spain were the better side but England defence really stood up. Manager showed how sticking with players really pays off. Amazed that they picked Carter again after her performance against Sweden but she was outstanding today.
Only watched the penalties so can't comment on the match. Well done the Lionesses. Seriously though there wasn't one good penalty amongst them if you ignore scoring as a criteria for being a good penalty.
I thought Kelly's was excellent. Hardly any run up but smashed it top corner. Goalkeepers don't stop those.
Not sure who she is but if that was the last one (only one capable of coming anywhere near that description, I think) then it was half way up the goal and half way between middle and post. Excellent that it went in but saveable.

Ha! Not putting my mortgage on that - Spain are the World Cup holders and have the womens’s’s’s Balloon Door winner (it’s an individual player award, no idea why it’s called that)… Spain are also much more beautiful than England. Keep your money away from the bookies is my top tip

Judging women based on their perceived attractiveness on a scale of 1-10 that you’ve personally put together. you should be ashamed of yourself anyway, I was talking about the players really, a large percentage of whom were hot as **** and I certainly would have!
