I definitely wasn't at my best in my late teens and early twenties, it's a real transition into adulthood and all of the expectations that come with it. I like the expression - there are no hopeless people, only people without hope.
Palace supposedly interested in Drameh now. I think we should loan him to Exeter to make sure he gets minutes though.
McBurnie is Jakirovic's number one target, out of all the strikers in the world. And coincidentally, he was also the club's number one target before Sergei was manager too! How convenient for us. And he happened to really want Louie Barry who the club already wanted too. Bet he's a big Zambrano fan as well!
Sun now reporting Cooper has left Bulgaria and wants a move back to England. Not sure how true it is, but they also mentioned us as a destination, which I can’t see with the signings and players we have.
Fair enough, but "joined the race" talk usually just means an agent is trying to drum up interest. There's nothing concrete there, and it would be quite incredible if an established PL club wanted a player who barely played at this level last season.
We won't sell Drameh for less than 20 million Acun pounds. Which is about 50k at the current exchange rate.
Something must have improved somewhere along the line for the EFL to remove that restriction. More to follow?
Absolutely agree. He’s clearly viewed as a high potential player and we shouldn’t be entertaining any of it, especially after his performance level in pre season
If the lads getting a sniff at Premier League wages and Football, his head won't be for turning. Similar comments apply to Illicali if they're dangling decent money in front of him.
So as it stands we still can't pay money for players until 2027 but we can pay players we sign on a free as much as we want. Do the EFL still have a veto?
i guess they probably wont allow us to sign someone on 50k a week it does sound confusing though, where is the line? im sure the club know but still
