Maybe given his age/contract needs, a loan is better for us. He'll be 32 by the end of it and we'd know a lot more whether committing is worth it. Also, I don't think foreign club loans count in the 5 spots.
They don’t, we can have as many as we want, but still only five in a match day squad. Also with Lundstram, he was at Sheffield United with Slater, so that should help with the settling in.
