How does this lad compare to e.g. Lammens, Petrovic, etc? He's younger and cheaper so presumably not as good right now, but is the potential there to become as good as those players or better? I've never heard of him!

i think moving him and patterson on are no brainers

    gives massive psr headroom

additionally both likely to be on the best at best

is what it is, particularly with neil. Even if he signs and knuckles down the mountain is massive to get in that midfield for me.

Players will outgrow us and we'll outgrow them, it is what it is and this has been exacerbated by the neccesary accelerated growth. I'd imagined that going up would have been great and you were caveated by parachute payments to become a yoyo club but i think it's clear they are doing what they can to give survival a real go because if they do it, we can pull up the proverbial draw bridge and become a mainstay.

He’s good now but obviously not experienced so he needs to prove consistency

potential is there to arguably be better than those

Struggle with highlight reels of GK's its all the little things, the organisation, claiming crosses, game intelligience that are massive

Would imagine Pattos highlight reel is amazing for example

Like the look of this keeper based on what i've read few people on here watched the u21 championship and whilst I cant remember much of him thats probably a good thing for a keeper

So better than Ramsdale in every way except for hoying it long (and saving pens, which can be coached)? Would like to see a similar graph with short passing stats in place of all the "launched" stuff. If playing out from the back those stats are meaningless anyway...

Seems a step down from Petrovic and Bulka, but I’d much rather buy him than ramsdale or johnstone

For passing stats Ramsdale seems to be higher due to how Southampton played last year, but anything related to shot stopping and cross claiming Roefs seems to far exceed him.

(Taking into account the different qualities of the league obviously but it is still impressive)

Massive in those metrics. All sorts of factors that are not accounted for there that make it a bit of a daft comparison.

Players in the Prem will get there shots away quicker so the keeper has less of a chance to get set, they'll be better at disguising their shots etc etc.
