I'm usually pretty optimistic, but honestly last season drained the optimism out of me. We aren't going to do anything special this year with the fire power we have...unless Celer really comes good...but that looks unlikely. We'll see, but I'll be happy with a boring last ten games and nothing to worry about.
Contrary to the characterisation I seem to have developed on here, I'm actually one of life's optimists. I'm really quite enthused by Nourry's transfer policy and look forward to getting behind a young team next season. It'll take a while for the new signings to settle in though, which is why I've gone for top 10 for this season. Promotion next year though, and the World's our lobster.
I've had a look at the latest prices on Oddschecker and they have us finishing about 19th. With only 5 teams below us ... Sheff Weds, Oxford, Charlton, Hull and Portsmouth. Championship Betting Odds | English Football | Oddschecker
I'm going for our perennial lower table finish, 16th this time around with yet another negative goal difference. I probably should get my medication increased and maybe I'll be more positive.
I've gone full in on a top 10 finish..... and no alcohol involved.... In Marti...... sorry Julián we trust..... Up the R's...
I’m one of them On the basis that I think we will bag a striker worth 15-20 goals I think we could sneak 6th…
