Does that mean we know the outcome of the appeal? The EFL won’t let us sign Frigan even if the restrictions are suspended?

    ****s.

I think after Alzate, the only players we could afford to let go are Furlong and Vaughan. In terms of first team squad everyone left should be involved.

One thing these restrictions have led to, is we've had the mother of all clear outs this summer. There's only Jacob and Omur out on loan that I can't see having a future at the club.

Disappointed about Frigan. Guess it was too good to be true. Think we’ve missed our window to sign him now as he’ll inevitably go to a bigger club in a bigger league. He really wanted to come here too.

A real shame, but even if we were well run the fee was probably too high for a club of our level?

You never know we might find £10m down the back of the sofa and sign him in Jan.

If we were a well-run club then €7 million, the reported fee before the fee restriction was announced, would’ve been worth the investment. It’s a shame we have a lion of a coach being led by a donkey of an owner.

Derby and Norwich have spent close to that fee on a striker this summer. €7 million would actually be a bargain for a player like Frigan.

    Oh well.

I'm referring to the clubs perception of a number of our players they've given up on after a short amount of time.

Knew we wouldn't sign Frigan and will be surprised if we end up with Mcburnie

I really hope we have a decent start, it’s what he deserves. I hope we don’t have the restrictions lifted though so Acun is punished / we become more sensible

    Good interview with Sergej:
    1. He's followed Ndala for 2/3 years, sounds like it's him who has identified the signing. Says 95% of the players club sign will be his targets
    2. Hopes to sign 3/4 more players in next couple days (Later says at least 2 before Getafe)
    3. McBurnie first option. Sergej first spoke to him 5 weeks ago and they had everything agreed, but embargo has prolonged discussions. Sounds like fresh offer on the table and is optimistic that he'll still sign
    4. Asked what area we want players "Midfield, one more winger or two, maybe left full back, but we will see situation with Brandon Williams"
    5. Wanted McBurnie and Frigan together, but Frigan not possible
    6. Burstow wanted to go to get more minutes

Expecting Akintola, Destan and Lundstram this week. Said Lundstram is a loan.
