Yes its pre season and results don’t matter BUT what does matter and is big is football is momentum….if we go into west ham with losses then can it could play a part time to bin off the 21s including Harrison Jones as they are not good enough and either go get first team players or give the current ones betted minutes
I wonder where I’ve heard this before… I do agree a bit but we’ve just proven that whole concept quite wrong
i get that, but thats with a team who had played with each other for 30 odd competitive games in the heat of battle…and thats the championship, different beast the prem Not worried in the slightest cos players will come in and none of the 21s will be near the squad
Forget about disproving it In pre season we disproved it 2 months ago to get to this point how are we back to it Edit I misread the first part
Avoid all that MCO thing like the plague. Basel would be a near permanent block on any European ambition for safc.
The multi-clubs in European competitions always confuses me. Some seem to be fine and others not. I've always thought it's a good idea as long as you are the main club. But I would rather have KLD's full interest I think.
The point is mate someone seemed to have inferred to the poster in question that we aren’t going to mess about with signings and we’ve obviously not messed about. People on ready to go tear posters with info apart with what they think is genuine info from (or do what you appear to have done and just have a little laugh at their expense) Now me personally I don’t care what form this info comes in, whether it be cast iron statements, cryptic or anecdotal like this example. It adds to the build up. Knocking these posters sucks the fun out of the whole thing for me.
Regis Le Bris' admission on Dan Neil over midfield battle https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...dmission-dan-neil-sunderland-midfield-battle/ REGIS LE BRIS has told Dan Neil he will have to “step up” if he wants to nail down a place in the Sunderland midfielder next season... “We will see what happens,” said Le Bris, when asked about Neil’s prospects next season. “I think for the players who came from League One to the Championship and then got promoted again, it’s the same for all of them, they need to step up. We trust these players, but the gap is massive. So, they will need time and they will need confidence. That’s the case for everyone. “If they are involved, and they believe this project is important for them and they have a possibility if being part of it, we will trust and support them.” …The situation is a delicate one (regarding contract) although Le Bris insists it will not influence his thinking when it comes to selecting his side. “As a manager, the contract situation is not a problem,” he said. “It is never a problem for me. If you are on the pitch and you can train properly, you can be involved in the squad. After that, you have the other side of things with the club, but that is not my problem at the minute.”
IMO, the captaincy weighed on DN. It's a good move to perhaps getting him back to playing his best. Or he's off. Club before player.
